The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) is a voluntary advisory committee made up of parents/guardians that works to advise, review, and assist the school principal and staff in the development of appropriate programs for limited English proficient students.
ELAC members discuss, evaluate and advocate for improved services for English Learners, assist in the development of the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), including budget recommendations, and create a structure for communication.
