Dollar-a-Day Campaign

Our school relies on the PTA to provide financial resources to continue to provide enriching programs and support services not funded by tax dollars. We need you to support our efforts and remember that your contribution is tax deductible. Our goal is 100% participation; please support the education of the children at Monte Vista. Every dollar contributed to the Campaign stays at Monte Vista.

We are asking families to contribute $1 per school day, a donation of $180 per student.  You can donate by printing the donation envelope below or on-line at

Your donations have funded the following programs and more:

  • $25,000- Electronic School Marquee
  • $20,000- Primary Music Program
  • $15,000- Primary P.E. Teacher
  • $10,425- Classroom Funds
  • $5,244- Ceramics Kiln
  • $5,900- Social Studies Weekly
  • $5,500- Library Books
  • $5,000- Library Assistants
  • $2,735- Scholastic News
  • $2,657- Laminator
  • $2,255- Assemblies

Additional programs such as our Carnival, Reflections Art Contest, Monty's Science Night, Red Ribbon Week, Monty's Holiday Shop, Random Acts of Kindness Week, Staff Appreciation Week, and various educational programs were all made possible by your PTA dollars.
