Each year, students in grades 4 through 6 compete in math competitions involving Problem Solving, and Conceptual Understanding. Students eligible for this event are identified GATE students and/or teacher identified high achievers in math. The student winners and school's top teams are honored at an awards ceremony immediately following the competition. The top four students from each grade will then go on to compete in the annual Los Angeles County Math Field Day held at Glendale High School.
